Johnny Test is an American-Canadian animated TV series produced by Warner Bros. Animation for the first season and by Cookie Jar Entertainment for the remainder of the series, it premiered on Kids' WB on September 17, 2005, which continued to air the series through its second and third seasons. The rest of the series aired on Cartoon Network starting on January 7, 2008, in the United States. It was later revived by Netflix for 2 more seasons, the first of which released in 2021. In Canada, the series aired on Teletoon, premiering September 8, 2006. As of 2023, it airs on WildBrainTV in Canada. All seasons of the show have been released in widescreen (16:9), all except for season 1 which was also the only season to have been animated in digital ink and paint instead of Flash. However a widescreen version of season 1 was actually made, but was never released, it was only used in the Lost Irish dub of the show, it's unknown why it was never used anywhere else, as the Netflix prints of season 1 were made when widescreen TVs were common, yet are still in 4:3. All that is found of this widescreen cut is the intro, one in Irish in high quality but has the end cut off, but another that is a prototype intro in widescreen but low quality, and cilps in a press kit and Kids' WB promos. Not even the images that you could download from the Johnny Test wiki use the 16:9 widescreen cut. e24fc04721
