The Haven Hotel

The Haven Hotel is a hotel that accommodates for post-secondary students. It can be hard to commute to classes as it can be seen as wasted time. In the duration of commuting to school and back, there are so many things one could have accomplished in the same timeframe. So, we decided to design an affordable hotel that allows students to stay closer to their campus. Located at the corner of King and Spadina in Downtown Toronto, minutes away from many post-secondary institutions. There are many amenities that can help accommodate students’ needs to get what they need done.

The concept of the Haven Hotel is "home away from home." Many students in the city are faced with long commuting times and it takes away from their studies. We plan to create a space that not only accommodates for students who want to be close to their campus, but also designing a space where they feel at home, a safe haven. We want to create an environment for students to be able to get work done and be able to interact with fellow students in this inviting space.
