space of isolation

The space of isolation is designed to create a secluded area for visitors. With this project being located on campus, some visitors may feel as if there is no feeling of isolation. This pavilion allows for this experience as it closes off everything and isolates visitors in the space. The entrance of the pavilion is located at the back of the space. Upon entering, visitors are met with seating and a singular tree in the middle. With skylights above each seating area, enhancing the feeling of isolation. The surrounding columns are tightly arranged to enhance this feeling of isolation.
