I am a fourth-year Statistics PhD candidate at the University of Chicago, where I am very fortunate to be working with Aaron Schein and supported by the NSF GRFP. My research develops interpretable probabilistic models and scalable algorithms for large matrix and tensor data. Before moving to Chicago, I completed my BA in Mathematics and Economics at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where I had a lot of fun running and doing math.

May 2026: New preprint: Decoding Multicellular Communication Motifs from Spatial Transcriptomics with ALARMIST. Really cool work led by Jiayi Fan and the Tansey Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
May 2026: Our paper Near-Universal Updates for Nonnegative Einsum Factorization was accepted to ICML.
April 2026: I am giving a talk at the SIAM Conference on Mathematics of Data Science this fall in Salt Lake City, UT as part of the Statistical Modeling Meets Tensor Modeling mini-symposium.
April 2026: Our paper Broad Spectrum Structure Recovery in Large-Scale Higher-Order Networks has been accepted for publication in Nature Communications.
February 2026: I am presenting a poster at ISBA this summer in Nagoya, Japan.
January 2026: I am interning with Danny Dunlavy and Carlos Llosa at Sandia National Lab this summer in Albuquerque, NM.
