[2021-02-01] Completed Exercise 0 on creating a Google site and GitHub repository; studied the IEEE Editorial Style Manual - Did research on the Rasberry Bi 3 functionaliies and ordered a bread board with other supplies.
[2021-02-8] Joined Group 17 with Michael Ifalice (very excited), went over Lab 1, and career paths
[2021-02-15] Completed setting up Raspberry Pi, with SSH key with my GitHub account. No classes. Lab 1 still incomplete.
[2021-03-05] Completed Lab 1, I was able to get the all the software necessary to run and see the desktop of my raspberry pi. I also read lab 2 in its entirety but since I don't have jump wire I couldn't complete it myself but the next time I collect my paycheck I will by jump wires, and camera if necessary.
[2021-03-07] Completed Lab 3, I did all of the parts that did not require a bread board, I also scanned through most of the code to understand Python a bit more cohesively. Ordered my female jump wires to complete the labs.
[2021-03-14] This week I made great progress on the hardware side of the labs as most of my equipment came in today. As you can see in the Lab 3 tab my raspberry pi is connected to my breadboard in the exact way it was done in the GitHub. I was a bit worried to run it on pi because I didn't have the right capacitor. I also completed Lab 4.
[2021-03-21]This week I did lab 5 which is the docker project on my raspberry pi I was very excited with this lab and I enjoy doing most of the part of it although most of the I feel like I’m just typing and not really understanding and because of that I will probably ask a lot of questions in the class that we have tomorrow on the 22nd.
[2021-04-04] This week I was able to make some progress on lab 6. Since last week my computer was having many issues, I reached out to Prof. Kevin Lu about my inconvenience. This week I used the Node-Red program to do run code remotely. After this was completed I moved on to lab B, using the Pystache software that I had to install on my Raspberry pi. I finished up the lab by running the example code.
[2021-04-19] This week for my CPE 322 progress I worked on two things. The first of which was lab six where we installed particle CLI on my laptop and the files to use it on my raspberry pi. This also includes downloading the mobile app on my smart phone. Next status research on our final project with my partner Mike and we have been looking at different codes that entail our project on different GitHub repositories.
[2021-04-26] This week I created a schedule for our final project with my group member, Michael. I started lab 7, I signed up for ThingsSpeak. Created the channels that were specified in the GitHub, and copied the appropriate API key. But when I ran the procedure I got an error. I found a partner to run me the 2nd part of the lab.
[2021-05-03]This week me and my partner Mike focus primarily on researching called for our final project. It was primarily about finding called on get hub testing in learning about the processes that they’re doing so we could make our own project more concise I understand the boundaries of what I want to change within the spectrum of our project. We also did live eight together where he focused primarily on the second half which was getting the 4 charts and I worked primarily on running the python code, and trying to decode it!!
