The goal of this project was to innovate on the Design 1 robot frame. This robot had the separate goal of dropping a "payload" when a certain signal is received from a "beacon". The cube is the payload, and an infrared light is the beacon. Our first design included a solenoid that pushed the cube off the robot when it received a signal.
The final design included a spinning motor and a new holding system, that allowed for the controlled release of two speparate blocks. More information can be seen the the report and presentation below.
