Development of John Deere Combine

John Deere was the first self-propelled combine. The John Deere combine Model 55, was introduced in year, 1947. It was featured with an auger platform, which has retracting fingers in the middle of the system. The first example of this was, the 630 Combine, made in Germany. The purpose was to serve in the European market.

New features for New Model John Deere Combine for 2019

John Deere has made three major updates. These updates are for their S-Series Combines, which will help to improve grain harvesting. These updates will work together to enhance the performance, quality and small grain harvesting as well. The efficiency of John Deere Combines’ S-Series is the three new additions. Each is explained below –

I. Advanced Track system

To make operator convenient, there is zero daily maintenance with this system. It is featured with an enclosed oil bath lubrication system. For 2019 model, The redesigned track system for John Deere combine conquers the changes for suspension cylinder, integrated final drive, track belts, and tandem bogie wheels which will work together to enhance the ride quality, floatation, transport speed and the durability.

II. 700FD HydraFlex Draper

The new 700FD HydraFlex Draper is specially designed to deliver improved crop handling versatility, long wear life, and to feed and capture more grain. The updated front edge design is that what keeps debris from being caught. It reduces the clean-out time by a 1/3. To improve ground sensing on odd terrain and to automatically adjust header position accordingly. The Deere added a fourth sensor to the Automatic Header Height Control option on the 35-, 40- and 45-foot models.

III. Mobile App Updates

John Deere Combine has one more update as their ‘MyOperations’ Mobile App for harvest operations. Managers will be able to make adjustments to five combine settings, these are, concave clearance, rotor speed, fan speed, chaffer clearance, and sieve clearance.
