JOE RIG is a well-spoken, classy, and fun host. 

A multilingual host who grew up in Hong Kong, JOE RIG can converse a little in Cantonese, with his primary command of instruction in English and Filipino. JOE RIG is also able to conduct wedding receptions and Tinghun ceremonies using Mandarin and Cantonese scripts. 

Having studied at International Christian School (ICS) in Hong Kong during his formative years, he was immersed in a multinational environment that equipped him to engage with people from different cultures and backgrounds. This experience laid the foundation for his ability to understand and confidently connect with international audiences.

His journey to the stage of emceeing started off when he became a distinguished debater in the La Salle Debate Society. It honed his ability to articulate ideas, and navigate through complex topics while under time pressure and responding to challenging arguments.

JOE RIG's speaking engagements span a wide spectrum - from international events like the World Universities Debate Championships - traveling to countries like Botswana, South Korea, China, and Thailand. On a national level, he also participated in cities such as Metro Manila, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Baguio. His international exposure extends to the Economics Competition held in Indonesia. Moreover, he also adds his distinctive touch to local church gatherings.

JOE RIG's influence in the emceeing world is felt through his active role in weddings, Tinghun ceremonies, debuts, corporate functions, birthday parties, anniversaries, and other social gatherings across the Philippines and even as far as Dubai.

As a host, JOE RIG strives to ensure each event aligns seamlessly with his clients’ preferences. He thinks quickly on his feet while captivating audiences with his charming personality, maintaining a polished and professional presence. He connects effortlessly with individuals of all nationalities and backgrounds, making every event classy, personal, and genuinely special. 

Music has always been an unwavering passion for JOE RIG. Starting off as both drummer and guitarist, he took a dive into music production. This creative exploration led him to develop his distinctive style, blending elements of pop, electronic, and a contemporary twist on ethnic music. The blend of these styles took its clear form when The Kandama Collective handpicked his tracks in 2017 and onwards for their local fashion shows and the illustrious New York Fashion Week.  

In 2017, JOE RIG crafted the original intro score for ABS-CBN’s Kumikinang-kinang Kasama si Kalad Karen. In 2018, he produced and released a 12-track album which was available on Spotify.  

He has performed original songs and covers in multiple venues - exclusive concerts, college events, and hospitality establishments. He has remixed tracks which attained a reach of 2,000 to 17,000 views.  

JOE RIG played as an acoustic guitarist in a performing group and recorded vocal talents in professional recording studios. He produced several jingles, instrumentals, tracks, and mixes for small businesses and social groups.
