I am a computational glaciologist motivated by open questions in glacier mechanics, glacial geomorphology, and paleoclimate. I combine numerical modeling, big data analytics, and geophysical fieldwork to investigate glacial erosion, simulate past and future glacier evolution, and reconstruct past climate conditions. The spatial reach of my work ranges from small tropical mountain glaciers to continent-scale polar ice sheets, and, ultimately, the entire global cryosphere. My research has been published in Science Advances, The Cryosphere, Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Annals of Glaciology, and New Space.
I hold a B.A. in Geology from Middlebury College, a M.Sc. in Planetary Geoscience from Brown University, and a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences (glaciology focus) from Dartmouth College.
