Learner Diversity Rating: Proficient

The learner diversity project created an environment that fosters interest in all aspects in technology because it specifically addressed learners with special needs. I rated myself as proficient because the project was done thoroughly, but I know at this point, I don't have advanced skills in educational theory and application. I used the DID model and created a lesson plan that would engage all students in technology, regardless of their learning style. This activity helped me grow as a professional because I learned a new skill that I could immediately use as a professional.

Grant Scenario Rating: Proficient

Writing a grant proposal was a great way to communicate high learning expectations. By advocating for technology upgrades, it communicates to superiors that with a little help you can perform your duties as a teacher at a high level and that students can learn at a high level. This assignment helped me grow as a professional. I wrote a grant proposal this semester for work advocating for new software. No decision has been made at this time, but my request was taken seriously and appreciated for being professional.
