JobRadar ("JobRadar", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the JobRadar mobile application.

JobRadar is a job discovery application that allows users to browse, search, filter, view, and save job opportunities and access the original job posting through an external website.

1. Information We Collect

JobRadar is designed to operate without requiring an account or collecting personal profile information.

We do not require you to provide:

JobRadar does not provide user accounts or user profiles.

2. Saved Jobs

When you save or favourite a job, the saved job information is stored locally on your device.

This information may include:

Saved jobs are stored locally and are not uploaded to a JobRadar server.

You can remove saved jobs at any time from within the application. Uninstalling the application will also remove locally stored application data according to the Android operating system's normal app-data behavior.

3. Job Search and Job Listings

JobRadar retrieves job listings from third-party job data providers through their APIs.

When you search for jobs or apply filters, information such as your search keywords and selected filters may be transmitted to the relevant job data provider in order to retrieve matching job listings.

The information returned by the job provider is displayed within JobRadar.

JobRadar does not control the privacy practices of third-party job data providers. Their handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.

4. External Job Websites

JobRadar may provide links to external websites containing the original job posting.

When you select an "Apply" or "View Job" action, you may be redirected to the relevant external website using your device's browser.

Once you leave JobRadar, the privacy practices of that external website apply. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external website you visit.

JobRadar does not control or take responsibility for the privacy practices, content, or security of external websites.

5. Internet and Network Information

JobRadar requires an internet connection to retrieve current job listings.

When communicating with external APIs or websites, standard technical information such as an IP address may be processed by those services as part of normal internet communication.

JobRadar itself does not intentionally collect or store your IP address or browsing history.

6. Device Permissions

JobRadar is designed to require only the permissions necessary for its functionality.

The application does not require access to:

If future versions introduce functionality requiring additional permissions, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Third-Party Services

JobRadar may use third-party services and libraries necessary to provide application functionality, such as:

These services may process technical information according to their own privacy policies.

JobRadar does not sell your personal information.

8. Advertising

The current version of JobRadar does not intentionally display personalized advertisements or use advertising SDKs.

If advertising or other third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain the relevant data collection, use, and sharing practices before or when those changes become applicable.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the application.

JobRadar does not maintain a user account system or a server-side user profile database.

Network communications with supported services are made using secure connections such as HTTPS where supported by the service.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Because JobRadar does not currently maintain user accounts or a server-side personal profile, we do not retain a personal account record for users.

Saved jobs are stored locally on your device.

You can delete individual saved jobs directly within the application.

You can also remove all locally stored JobRadar data by clearing the application's data or uninstalling the application through your Android device settings.

Information processed by third-party job providers or external websites is subject to their own retention and deletion policies.

11. Children's Privacy

JobRadar is not specifically directed toward children.

The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time when the application's functionality or data practices change.

When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated.

We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

By using JobRadar, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
