I am a rising third-year Ph.D. student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in the economics of education.
My research studies how students and families navigate education markets and how policies affect the opportunities they perceive and pursue. I use causal inference and models of student choice to examine how financial aid, assignment systems, and institutional reforms shape inequality and long-run outcomes.
Before my doctoral studies, I served as a Senior Policy Analyst and Education Data Specialist at the Chilean Ministry of Education and consulted for UNESCO and the World Bank. I also completed the Enseña Chile Fellowship (Teach For All partner), where I taught math full-time in low-income schools for two years.
