Welcome
João Cerejeira is a Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Minho. He holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute (Florence) and is a member of the Center for Research in Economics and Management (NIPE). He is also a research affiliate of the Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies (CIPES). His primary research areas are labour economics and program evaluation. João has extensive advising experience, including policy-oriented reports on the economic impact of climate change, the impacts of cultural events, and the evaluation of labour market policies. His clients include the Portuguese Government, the International Labour Organization (ILO), private companies, and non-profit organizations. João has published several referred journal articles, chapters, and books in his field.
