"What's your favorite scary movie?"

Or any genre of film, for that matter. My name is Joanna, I am a Cinema Studies graduate and I love to write, film and photograph. I love horror, comedy, punk and rock music. I am nostalgic for 70s/90s/00s media and it's aesthetics and themes. This site includes my work (as much as I could dig up from the past) in film reviews, essays, news writing and some of my film photography, as well as pictures I have taken when traveling.  I have also created social media graphics and content for events which you can find some of my work under "graphics" in the top bar of this page.

I am looking forward to writing new pieces and creating new projects going forward.
