Our research group investigates advanced environmental and energy materials that play a central role in greenhouse gas mitigation and eco-friendly energy production (e.g., hydrogen energy), essential for a carbon-neutral society. In particular, we focus on the surface control and modification of metal oxides to enhance the activity and stability of catalysts for various chemical and electrochemical reactions, such as solid oxide electrochemical cells (SOCs), CO₂ utilization, N₂O abatement, and the decomposition of F-gases (e.g., PFCs, NF₃).
