Summary
Image Diet compresses, resizes and converts images entirely on your device. The app has no server. The images you pick and the results you save never leave your device through this app. The only network traffic the app generates comes from the Google AdMob advertising SDK, described below.
What the app does with your images
• Images are selected with the Android photo picker. The app does not request storage, camera or location permissions. (On Android 9 and below, saving to the gallery requires the storage write permission, asked only at that moment.)
• Processing uses Android platform APIs on-device. Results are written to the app's cache and, when you tap Save, to Pictures/ImageDiet in your gallery.
• Metadata removal: by default the app removes date, device and location tags from results. You can keep them with the Remove metadata switch.
• The app stores only your last-used options on your device. It keeps no history of processed images.
Advertising (free version)
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK may collect and process data such as the advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and interaction with ads, according to Google's policies:

Where required by law, the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before ads are loaded. You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options.
If you purchase Pro, all ads and advertising SDK requests are disabled.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing or the Samsung Galaxy Store, depending on where you installed the app. The app receives only the purchase status needed to unlock Pro and stores that status on your device. The app does not receive your payment details.
Data the app itself collects
None. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting and no account system.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
