# Privacy Policy — Chess

This Privacy Policy explains how the **Chess** app ("the App", package `com.hsh.chess`) handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
## Summary
Chess is an offline chess game. We do **not** collect, store, or share any personal information ourselves, and the App has no account or login. The only data that leaves your device is collected by our advertising provider (Google AdMob) to show ads.
## Information the App stores on your device
The App saves the following **locally on your device only** (never sent to us):
- Your settings (last game mode, difficulty, chosen color, and toggles).
- Your in-progress game, so you can continue it later.
This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data.
## Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App displays ads through **Google AdMob** (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, which may include:
- A device advertising identifier (Advertising ID).
- Approximate, IP-based location and general device information.
- Ad interaction data (for example, which ads were shown or tapped).
This information is used to deliver and measure ads, including personalized or non-personalized ads where applicable. We do not receive this data.

## Permissions
The App requests the **Internet** permission solely to load ads. No other sensitive permissions are required to play.
## Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is **not directed to children under 13**. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
## Data sharing and security
We do not sell or share personal data. Any ad-related data is handled by Google AdMob under Google's own privacy terms. Because the App stores game data only on your device, you control it directly.
## Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this page with an updated effective date.
