Master of Science in Computer Science at Northwestern University, 2021
Jiwon is a Ph.D. student in Optical Sciences at The University of Arizona, under the supervision of Dr. Weimin Zhou in Computational Imaging and Visual Intelligence Laboratory (CIVIL).
In the first few years of her doctoral studies, she worked with Dr. Florian Willomitzer in Computational 3D Imaging and Measurement Lab (3DIM), and focusing on integrating machine learning in various optical 3D metrology and 3D imaging techniques.
Prior to joining her PhD program, she was a data engineer at QuickMD, a HIPAA compliant telehealth service.
Jiwon earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Northwestern University in December 2021. She was affiliated to the Computational Photography Lab (CPL), and working on holography image rendering with neural randiance fields under the advisement of Dr. Oliver Cossairt, Dr. Jack Tumblin, Dr. Florian Willomitzer from Computational 3D Imaging and Measurement Lab (3DIM), and Dr. Marc Walton from Center for Scientific Studies in the Arts (NU-ACCESS).
Jiwon received her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University at Buffalo, The State University of New York in May 2020. During her undergraduate years, she worked on autonomous robotics projects under the guidance of Dr. Nils Napp, who is currently affiliated to Cornell University.
