Curriculum Vitae

About me

I am a Chief Research Officer (CRO) at Asleep. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from KAIST in 2020, advised by Prof. Yung Yi and co-advised by Prof. Song Min Kim.

Research Interest

My research interest lies in:

  • RF-based vital signal monitoring - RF-based sensing algorithm to measure body movements, respiration, and even heart rate

  • Energy-efficient Internet of Things (IoT) - Networking protocol for energy efficiency, latency, high reliability

  • Backscatter-based System - New backscatter system for IoT networks

  • Machine Learning (on-device AI) - Machine learning on low-power devices
