Jingming Wang

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Virginia. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Statistics at Harvard University, fortunate to be advised by Professor Zheng (Tracy) Ke. I received my Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2021, with deep appreciation for the mentorship of Professor Zhigang Bao.  

My research interests:

• High-dimensional statistics

•  Random matrix theory

•  Social network analysis

•  Statistical text mining

• Applications to genomics and bioinformatics
