I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Heidelberg University (Germany), where I study at the Chair of International and Development Politics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Axel Dreher.
I hold an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor of Laws in Political Science and International Relations from Tongji University. During my studies, I have completed an exchange semester at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) and an exchange summer course at the University of Indonesia (UI). After finishing my master's studies, I worked at UNDP Mauritius as an intern for 9 months.
My research interests include development economics and political economy. Specifically, I work on development aid, conflict, and climate adaptation measures in Bangladesh. I am often interested in answering questions with geospatial analysis methods.
