Yau-Huo (Jimmy) Shr is an applied economist studying the interactions between human and the environment. He is particularly interested in understanding the values of goods and services provided by the environmental and natural resources using state-of-the-art quantitative methods. His work also contributes to advancing the methods to better measure these values.

He is currently a research associate in the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development and the Department of Economics at Iowa State University. He received his PhD in Agricultural, Environmental, and Regional Economics from Pennsylvania State University.
