I just bought a pair of dumbbells, very light, 2.5 kg only. 2 years ago I knew that my arms were extremely weak and undeveloped. Also, in PE class online the teacher asked us to use dumbbells for workouts at home and I don’t have one. We bought it in the mall and the next day the school said there won't be any online class next week. Which is fine since now I can train my arms in the future more often, and I did.
I did some basic bicep curls using dumbbells. 20 repetitions and two or three sets. I didn’t really push myself too hard since PE class is tiring enough for me and I just want to relax and have fun. It was slightly tiring but definitely not exhausting. The main struggle I have is the fact that I need to convince myself to start doing workouts. Sometimes I want to practice but I got lazy and didn’t do it in the end. However, a lot of times when I walk by I’ll just pick it up and do some curls for fun. I’m pretty sure there are more workouts I can do with dumbbells but I’m not really sure what to do, I’ll do more research for variations of workouts I can do. And since I just started doing it.
By doing exercises with dumbbells I acknowledge that doing a workout takes time and effort to see the results. I plan to do it continuously, not daily but I’ll do it whenever I want to or I have time and try to make it a part of my daily life routine or habit to see what development or changes I’ll have.
