I went back to Taiwan during the winter holiday. I like holidays overall, but that also means that I missed out on weight training class. So I need to find some ways to workout a bit to compensate for my overconsumption of all sorts of food and inactivity for this break. Fortunately, there was a gym near my house, so I decided that I will go there twice a week while I was still in Taiwan.
What I did in the gym:
Arms & chest workout
Dumbbell curl
Standing fly
lateral & front raise
Dumbbell bench press
Pec machine
Machine bench press
Leg extension (machine)
Cool down
12~15 minutes jogging (treadmill)
The reason why I did this is so I keep myself in a decent shape during the break. Though my strength did fall off a bit by the time I went back to school, at least it wasn’t that much of a downgrade. Health is something important, I did realize that my physique and my health style when I was young is not healthy, so it did remind me to stay in better shape. The activity itself is a reminder for me to always have the habit of working out no matter where, so I can improve my physique for the better.
