If you want a durable, cut-to-size black solution for securing heavier items like radar detectors and GPS units in your vehicle, choose JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non; if you need a massive quantity of transparent, ultra-thin pads to organize dozens of small everyday objects across multiple surfaces, choose Ywhomal Traceless.
• JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non offers a premium, larger 6.3 x 5.1 inch sheet that is easily cut down, featuring a deep black finish ideal for blending into dark dashboards while holding substantial weight without residue.
• Ywhomal Traceless provides a bulk pack of 10 individual, crystal-clear pads that are incredibly thin and versatile, perfect for creating invisible mounting points on glass or light-colored furniture where aesthetics matter most.
• Best For: JIMISHA is the superior choice for dedicated car maintenance tasks requiring strong adhesion for electronics, while Ywhomal wins for general home organization and high-volume needs.
The JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non Slip Mat is engineered specifically for drivers who need a reliable anchor point for their critical navigation and safety gear. The product shines with its generous dimensions of 6.3 by 5.1 inches, which is notably larger than many competitors in this category. This extra surface area is not just about fitting a phone; it is about stability. When you place a radar detector, a heavy GPS unit, or a set of keys on this pad, the broad contact area distributes the weight effectively. This density suggests a higher capacity for friction, making it less likely to slide during sudden stops or sharp turns compared to thinner alternatives.
One of the most practical aspects of this product is its adaptability. If you only need a mount for a single key ring or a small remote control, you can slice off a portion of the large sheet. This flexibility means you aren't paying for a giant mat you never fully use; you get one robust sheet that becomes exactly what you need. Furthermore, the black color is a deliberate design choice for automotive interiors. In a car cabin, especially under direct sunlight, black gel pads tend to absorb heat better than clear plastics and blend seamlessly with the typical dashboard texture, making them nearly invisible once installed.
This product is ideal for the driver who treats their vehicle as a workspace or a command center. If you rely on your device being secure above all else, and you prefer a solution that looks integrated rather than like an afterthought, this is the pick. However, you should skip this option if you are looking for a quick fix for a single small item on a bathroom counter or if you need ten separate pads scattered around the house. The packaging comes as a 2-pack of these large sheets, which limits the total number of distinct mounting points you can create simultaneously. It is a focused tool for serious application, not a scattered supply of generic stickers.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Ywhomal Traceless Super Sticky Gel Pads are designed for volume and versatility. With a pack containing 10 individual pads, this product speaks directly to someone who wants to organize multiple spaces without cluttering their budget or inventory. This slim profile is a defining characteristic; it makes the pads almost unnoticeable when applied to surfaces. The transparency is another key feature. Unlike the black JIMISHA mat, these pads are clear, which allows them to adhere to glass, white cabinets, or light-colored walls without leaving a visible dark mark. This makes them excellent for kitchen cupboards, office desks, or even inside a car for lighter items where you do not want to mar the interior aesthetic.
The utility here extends far beyond the dashboard. While the JIMISHA pad is a powerhouse for heavy electronics, the Ywhomal pads excel at organizing small, daily essentials. You can use one to hold a perfume bottle on a vanity, another to keep a remote from sliding off a nightstand, and several more to secure pens, coins, or glasses on a desk. The process is straightforward: peel, stick, and go. Because they come pre-cut into small squares, there is no need for scissors or cutting tools, saving time if you are in a rush to set up a new space.
This product fits the buyer who views adhesive pads as a consumable utility rather than a permanent fixture. If you move frequently, rent your home, or simply enjoy rearranging your furniture often, the ability to remove and wash these pads without damage is invaluable. They are also great for temporary solutions, such as holding a tablet in the back seat or keeping a water bottle stable in a travel mug holder. The trade-off is obvious: you get smaller, thinner pads that might not support a heavy GPS unit as securely as the larger JIMISHA sheet. But for the vast majority of small household items, the sheer quantity and invisibility make this the smarter buy. It is the choice for the organized multitasker who has a dozen different spots that need a little grip.
• Best for heavy electronics and stability → JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non: The larger 6.3 x 5.1 inch surface area and thicker gel composition provide superior hold for devices like radar detectors and GPS units that have significant mass.
• Best for high-volume organization → Ywhomal Traceless: The pack of 10 allows you to secure multiple small items across various rooms simultaneously, offering more mounting points for the same investment.
• Best for invisible installation → Ywhomal Traceless: The transparent color ensures the pads vanish on glass, white surfaces, or light-colored dashboards, whereas the black JIMISHA pads are best suited for dark interiors.
• Best for customization on-site → JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non: The large sheet can be cut into any shape or size needed, allowing you to tailor the grip area precisely for irregularly shaped objects.
• Best for ease of use without tools → Ywhomal Traceless: These come pre-cut and ready to apply immediately, saving the effort of measuring and cutting before every installation.
• Best for temperature resistance → JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non: Specifically rated for safe use between -20°C and 120°C, making it a robust choice for vehicles that experience extreme heat in summer or cold in winter.
• Best for mixed-use scenarios → Both: Both products are reusable and washable, but JIMISHA leans toward automotive durability while Ywhomal leans toward general home utility.
• Best for specific car tire maintenance context → JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non: When considering the broader scope of vehicle care and maintenance, the larger, more robust pad offers a more secure platform for tools or devices used during for tire maintenance checks, ensuring equipment stays put while you work.
In my opinion, the JIMISHA Car Dashboard Non is the stronger choice for anyone prioritizing the safety and security of their vehicle's electronics. The larger footprint and deeper black finish offer a professional look and a level of stability that smaller, transparent pads simply cannot match for heavy devices. While the Ywhomal Traceless is a fantastic value for home organization, I would buy the JIMISHA pad first because the stakes in a moving vehicle require maximum grip. If you are doing for tire maintenance or managing sensitive gear in the cabin, you need the confidence that comes with the larger, cuttable sheet. That said, if you need to outfit your entire kitchen and office with non-slip solutions, grab the Ywhomal pack. For the car specifically, though, the JIMISHA is the winner.
Yes, both the JIMISHA and Ywhomal pads are made from PU gel that can be washed with warm water and soap to renew their stickiness, allowing them to be reused many times without leaving residue.
The JIMISHA pad is black, so it will be visible on light-colored surfaces; however, it is designed to blend perfectly into standard dark automotive interiors where it is nearly invisible.
The JIMISHA pad is significantly larger (6.3 x 5.1 inches) compared to the individual Ywhomal pads (approx. 3 x 2.5 inches), meaning the JIMISHA offers a wider base of support for heavier items like GPS units.
While the Ywhomal pads are pre-cut, the material description notes they can be cut into smaller pieces, though the JIMISHA sheet is explicitly marketed for easy custom cutting to fit specific needs.
