I am a tenured faculty member at the UNSW Business School, University of New South Wales, Sydney.
My research focuses on sustainability, corporate governance, and ESG. Throughout my research, I ask what drives organizations to integrate the interests of stakeholders into strategy formulation.
My research was recognized with the Best Paper Award (2016) from the Sustainability Academy, hosted by the Ivey Business School and Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability. I also was nominated for the Best Paper Award (2016) and Best Dissertation Award (2018) at the 76th and 78th Academy of Management annual meetings, respectively.
I earned my Ph.D. from Temple University and B.A. (summa cum laude) from Korea University. Prior to joining academia, I worked as an investment manager for over five years, executing mergers and acquisitions, and global investments.
