Classroom Technology Graduation Portfolio

Welcome to Mrs. Green's Digital Portfolio!

About Me

My name is Jillian Green and I completing my Master's Degree in Technology Education from Bowling Green State University. Currently am licensed to teach in the state of Ohio with a PK-3rd Grade General Education, with a K-3 Reading Endorsement and a K-12 Computer/Technology Endorsement. As of the 2019-2020 school year I am working as a substitute teacher serving a variety of classrooms in the Ross County area. In 2010 I graduated with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from the University of Rio Grande.

Within this graduate level digital portfolio you will find evidence of my accomplishments in the Classroom Technology Master's program at Bowling Green State University. Over the last two years I spent time exploring new technology, researching topics, and reflecting on a variety of concepts. Projects highlighted in this portfolio include a podcast series on substitute teaching, a website of digital resources for both teachers and students, and my final project for this degree- an action research project on curriculum and self-reflection. My favorite project I worked on was my final project even though it was as much work as my entire degree. I felt this project allowed for the most hands on and a practical skills that I can use in interviews and in a future classroom.

For one of our classes we learned how to make Wordlels. Using social media I asked my family and friends to give me a list of words that they think of when they think of me. This is a display of the most common words used.
