Academic Writing

Writing has been an outlet for me to think beyond my own personal experiences and grow to understand complex characters. My love for literature and history developed over time the more that I learned about the politics and culture that surrounded the literature I was reading in class, such as Jane Eyre and All Quiet on the Western Front. Using history, culture, and literature to create social commentary as a way to reframe how I think about social change and sytemic progress, allows me to continue to improve myself and think critically about my surroundings.
