Graduate School:
I've earned Ph.D degree under Prof. John Kim at KAIST. I received M.S and B.S degrees at Hongik University, Seoul in Korea. During my Ph.D., our research primarily focused on finding breakthrough for SSD architecture to enable high-performance, highly reliable as well as highly scalable. As a result, we proposed and introduced flash memory interconnection network based on decoupled SSD architecture as the high-performance/capacity SSDs are becoming critical in modern computer system

To enable efficient storage system, Decoupled SSD architecture has been proposed and furthermore, to enhance, Networked SSD, a flash memory interconnection network, has been also proposed

I've studied various aspect of GPU architecture including multi-kernel scheduling/execution, side/covert-channel attack, and on-chip network analysis. Experience includes not only micro architectural understanding, but also various and dynamic aspects of GPU as an accelerator
