Jiho Hong - Researcher in PDEs and Applied Analysis

As a postdoctoral fellow in CUHK Mathematics under mentorship of Prof. Bangti Jin, I mainly studied inverse problems. Theoretically, we proved uniqueness and stability results for recovering the variable order of subdiffusion. Algorithmically, we designed reliable recipes of using deep neural network surrogates and direct algorithms for various inverse problems.

Before this, I received my Ph.D. in KAIST Mathematical Sciences under mentorship of Prof. Mikyoung Lim, where I mainly studied partial differential equations and spectral geometry.
