This Privacy Policy explains how Maiya Shrestha (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Jigsaw Puzzle: Calm HD mobile, web, or desktop application (the “App”).
The App is designed to work without creating an account and without sending personal data to our servers. Most user data is stored locally on your device, including:
onboarding status
theme preference
language preference
game settings such as sound, music, haptics, rotation mode, guide lines, and notifications
gameplay statistics such as puzzles solved, total play time, hints used, streaks, and best times
in-game coins balance
unlocked puzzle IDs
rewarded puzzle IDs
last puzzle state for the “Continue” feature
hints remaining for the current session
the last time an in-app review prompt was shown
We do not knowingly collect:
names, email addresses, or other account details
phone numbers
location data
contacts
photos from your device
advertising identifiers
analytics data
crash reports
login credentials
When you use the Online / Explore section, the App sends your search terms to Pexels API so that it can return photos for puzzle creation. Pexels may receive the search query you enter, and the photos shown in the App include photographer attribution where required.
We use locally stored information only to:
provide app functionality
remember your settings and progress
maintain coins, streaks, rewards, and unlocked content
resume your last puzzle
schedule daily reminders if you enable notifications
show in-app review prompts at appropriate times
fetch puzzle images from Pexels in the Online / Explore section
Depending on your platform, the App may request the following permissions:
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — to schedule daily puzzle reminder notifications at specific times
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restore notification schedules after device reboot
Notifications — to send daily puzzle reminders if you enable them
No special permissions are required
You can disable notifications in your device settings or within the App settings.
The App uses the following third-party services or libraries:
Pexels API — to fetch puzzle images from the Online / Explore section

We store data locally using platform-provided secure storage mechanisms where available, including:
Android encrypted storage
iOS Keychain
secure local storage on supported platforms
Although we use reasonable technical safeguards, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
The App does not use advertising IDs or tracking for marketing purposes. The Web version may use local browser storage or similar technologies to support normal app behavior, such as saving settings and progress locally.
The App is a casual puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the App, please contact us.
At the time of this policy, the App does not include ads or in-app purchases. We may add features in the future such as:
rewarded ads
coin packs
subscription plans
premium puzzle packs
no-ads or VIP options
If and when those features are added, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe any relevant third-party ad networks, payment providers, or data processing practices.
You may:
turn notifications on or off
change language, theme, sound, and other settings
clear stored data using Settings → Data → Clear All Data
Clearing data removes stored stats, coins, unlocked puzzles, streaks, and settings. Onboarding status is preserved so you do not see the onboarding flow again.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
