Effective date: 14 August 2026
JigBloom: Jigsaw Puzzle ("JigBloom", "the app") is developed by TheSoft. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what it deliberately does not do.
JigBloom does not ask who you are. There is no account, no sign-in, and no personal profile. It does send limited technical and usage information to Google Firebase so we can tell whether the app is crashing and which parts of it people actually use.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Through Google Firebase, the app collects: usage data (which screens you open, which puzzles you start and finish, and similar in-app events); crash and diagnostic data (crash reports, error stack traces, and the app state at the moment of a failure); device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version, language, and general country-level region); a pseudonymous app instance identifier, which is a random ID Firebase assigns to your installation so events from one device can be grouped together, reset if you reinstall and not linked to any name, email or account; and a push notification token issued by the platform, used only to deliver notifications from the app.
WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT
No name, email address, phone number or postal address. No account or sign-in of any kind. No location data beyond the country-level region inferred from your connection. No contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files. No advertising identifier: the app requests no advertising ID on Android and collects no IDFA on iOS, and it is not used for cross-app or cross-site tracking. No advertising networks, no attribution SDKs, no social media SDKs. No selling or renting of data to anyone, ever.
INFORMATION STORED ONLY ON YOUR DEVICE
Your game progress stays in the app's private storage on your device and is never uploaded: coins and hints you hold, your daily streak count and the date you last claimed a daily reward, which puzzles you have completed or started, and your app settings. Deleting the app removes this permanently.
WHO PROCESSES THIS DATA
Google is our data processor: Firebase Analytics for usage data, Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic data, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notification delivery, and Firebase Remote Config for app configuration. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Google's handling is governed by their own terms at firebase.google.com/support/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy. TheSoft operates no servers of its own, and no third party other than Google receives this data.
DOWNLOADABLE PUZZLE PACKS
Additional puzzle packs download inside the app through the platform's own delivery service: Google Play Asset Delivery on Android, Apple On-Demand Resources on iOS. Those transfers are handled by Google and Apple under their own privacy policies, and TheSoft is not told which packs you download.
PURCHASES AND ADVERTISING
This version of JigBloom contains no advertising, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Coins and hints are earned by playing.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
JigBloom is aimed at adults and is listed for ages 18 and over on Google Play. It does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app and you want their data removed, contact us and we will delete it.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Uninstalling the app ends all collection. To request deletion, email us and we will delete the analytics and crash data associated with your installation; because the identifier is pseudonymous, please write from the device in question or include the approximate dates you played so we can locate the records. Push notifications can be turned off in your device settings at any time.
Retention: Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months and Crashlytics data for 90 days, after which it is deleted automatically.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If a future version changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above before that version is released.
