JigBeat — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
Short version: JigBeat has no servers, no account and no trackers. Everything the game knows about you stays inside the app on your own device.
What the game keeps
JigBeat saves your progress so you can pick a session back up: campaign stars, the species in your logbook, coins and amber, tackle upgrades, badges, daily task progress, the name you type on the tacklebox tag, and your sound, music, haptics and metronome switches. This save lives in the app's own local storage on the device, and it is the only data the game creates.
What the game does not do
JigBeat does not ask you to register or sign in. It does not collect a name, an email address, a phone number, contacts, photos, location or any device identifier. It does not include advertising, analytics, crash reporting or any other third party software development kit. Nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to be uploaded to — the game works entirely offline.
Children
Because nothing at all is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either. There are no chat features, no user generated content, no external links inside gameplay and no purchases of any kind. The in-game shop is paid for only with coins and amber that you earn by playing.
Your control over the save
Reset progress in the Profile screen clears the entire save immediately and returns the game to a first launch. Deleting JigBeat from the device removes the save with it. Since the data never leaves the device, there is no copy anywhere else to request or delete.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of JigBeat ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the new version will ship with that release. The current build collects nothing.
