Description: Snapshots generated from a Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) of compressible turbulent channel flow at bulk Reynolds number Reb=7667 and bulk Mach numbers Mb=0.8,1.5 and 3.0. The computational domain has dimensions Lx*Lz=6pi h *2pi h in the streamwise and spanwise directions respectively, with h the half-channel height. Periodic boundary conditions applied in streamwise and spanwise directions, while no-slip/no-penetration and isothermal boundary conditions are enforced at the walls. The flow is driven by a uniform pressure gradient that varies in time to maintain constant mass flux through the channel. Each snapshot captures the complete five-dimensional flow field including all three velocity components (u, v, w) and temperature (T) and density (rho) at a given time.
