JIAWEI WANG

Biography

I'm currently a postdoctoral associate in Dr. Matthew Girgenti's lab at Yale School of Medicine. My research focuses on statistical genomics and multi-omics analysis of neuropsychiatric diseases, including Major Depression Disorder (MDD) and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I obtained my dual Bachelor's degrees in Biological Sciences and Mathematical Sciences at Tsinghua University in July, 2016. After that, I joined the doctoral program of Computational Biology & Bioinformatics at Yale University in Dr. Hongyu Zhao's lab at Yale School of Public Health, and graduated in October, 2022. Later, I joined Girgenti Lab in the Department of Psychiatry.
