Jianwei Huang, Ph.D., P.E.

Dr. Jianwei Huang is a Full Professor of Civil Engineering at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Prof. Huang has taught various engineering courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels since joining SIUE. He has supervised a number of MS students and mentored several undergraduate students’ research, sponsored by the SIUE URCA program. Dr. Huang received the 2018 SIUE Teaching Recognition Award and CE Outstanding Teacher Award several times. He has authored/coauthored many papers in peer-reviewed journals (including well-reputed ASCE and ACI Journals) and conference proceedings. Currently, he is an Associate Editor of ASCE Journal of Structural Design and Construction Practice.
