Jiajia Yang, PhD, is an ​Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems at Okayama University, Japan. He is also a visiting scientist of Section on Functional Imaging Methods (sFIM), Laboratory of Brain and Cognition (LBC), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, MD, USA. His major research focus is on studying the fundamental mechanisms of human haptic and haptic-visual crossmodal object perception. He combines psychophysics and neuroimaging techniques (fMRI, Ultra-high field fMRI, ERP, etc.) to address these questions.
