Sunday, Alex Caruso and the Oklahoma City Thunder agreed to a 4-year, $81 million contract extension, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Caruso, a two-time NBA All-Defensive Team guard, has averaged 5.7 points per game in his first season with the Thunder. He was acquired in a trade this summer from the Bulls in a deal that sent G/F Josh Giddey to Chicago.
Currently, OKC sits as the best team in the Western Conference with a 22-5 record and just made an appearance in the NBA Cup Finals, where they fell short against the Milwaukee Bucks.
