I am a Ramon y Cajal Fellow at the Department of Economics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). Before joining UC3M, I was an assistant professor at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a postdoctoral researcher at the London School of Economics and a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR). I previously worked for J-PAL and the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie). My research focuses on topics in development economics, harmful social norms, crime, and the evaluation of social policies. Currently, I am a research fellow at IZA and the Global Labor Organization, and an invited researcher at J-PAL.
