I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of South Alabama. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, working under the direction of Jane Hawkins. My current research interests are in dynamical systems and ergodic theory. These fields study the long-term and average behavior of points under iteration of a function. My independent research projects center around the dynamics of transformations on the p-adic numbers. My joint research projects involve complex dynamics, geometry, topology, and applications to number theory.
