My new favorite addition to the JetKids lineup is the CloudSleeper, an inflatable trip bed for kiddies periods 3 and over. Although the bed is n’t designed for aeroplanes , it s perfect for trip, sleepovers, camping, and more. The erected- in pump means inflating is quick and easy( and you get a quick drill), and it folds up into a quilting cell that fits nicely in utmost carry- on bags.

CloudSleeper Real-life Testing

Over the once 6 months, my family and I've been running some real- life tests of the JetKids by Stokke CloudSleeper.

The CloudSleeper has set up asemi-permanent home in the kiddies ’ bedroom and gets pumped up when musketeers or relatives sleep over, or indeed when we're watching a movie at home. We've also taken it to a sprinkle of hospices and transnational passages to see if it was worth the space it takes up in the luggage — and it was worth it.

For the times we used it at home, it was in far the preference of both kiddies and grown-ups compared to a traditional inflatable mattress. Indeed binary mattresses take up a lot of space, which can snappily crowd a room. Our kiddies love helping pump up their CloudSleeper and get agitated that they've a bed that's their size.

With trip being so chaotic over the summer, we packed the CloudSleeper inside my son’s BedBox as we were preparing for worst- casescenarios.However, being suitable to whip out an inflatable bed for the kiddies to sleep on would be an inconceivable parenthood move!

If we were to ever get stuck in an field on a long detention or indeed overnight( as doubtful as it is).

During multiple hostel stays, despite having 2 queen beds for our family of 4, sometimes one of the kiddies would conclude for the CloudSleeper rather of participating a bed. With numerous hospices at maximum residency recently, having a backup bed could be a lifesaver if you ever get assigned a room without enough beds for your family.

How To Set Up the CloudSleeper

Setting up the CloudSleeper is relatively straightforward, but I haven’t been able to do it under 60 seconds as the website claims.

o inflate the CloudSleeper, simply:

Remove it from its packing cube
Unfold the mattress with the soft side up
Make sure the valve on the far end of the pump is closed
Pump and inflate
Close the valve near the pump
Zip sheet closed

The process is very easy, but I’m in relatively good shape and I get a good arm workout each time I need to pump the CloudSleeper up.

To deflate the CloudSleeper, simply:

Open both valves
Flip the mattress over
Roll to deflate
Unroll
Fold along the dotted lines
Pack in packing cube

Size

The CloudSleeper is relatively small compared to standard inflatable mattresses, which is not a bad thing.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the JetKids by Stokke CloudSleeper is an excellent piece of travel gear and one that has quickly become a “must-pack” for me and my family. The quality is superb, the design is creative and functional, and above all else — it makes travel easier. Having a comfortable and familiar place for kids to rest after a long day of travel is priceless. And being able to bring that comfort anywhere is awesome.
