The Pirate Bay has long been the undisputed leader in terms of traffic, but if we look at the most frequently visited domains at the beginning of this year, YTS and 1337x now outweigh it.
TPB's dip may be due to the frequent problems with downtime and accessibility over the past months. For many, it remains the go-to torrent site when it is accessible, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the site were to regain the lead in the coming months.
There's one newcomer on this year's list. After one year's absence TorrentDownloads is back. The platform is taking the place of iDope, which last year vanished from the scene.

Alexa Rank: 205 / #5 2 from last year. 1337x 1337x has long been a reliable presence in this series. It has as a community of uploaders dedicated to providing fresh content.
Alexa Rank: 248 / #3 3 last year. Last year the Pirate Bay became 15-year-old and is the oldest domain on this list. When we counted all traffic from proxy domains it would possibly still be on top but it is now in the third position due to frequent downtime and connectivity issues.
Alexa Rank: #1 4, 288/ Last year. Compared to last year, RARBG RARBG has fallen two points. The platform operates multiple domain names for this article, but only the one with the most traffic counts. RARBG was founded in 2008 and specializes in the production of high-quality video.
Alexa Rank: 549: LimeTorrents has been around for more than half a decade and was one of the best torrent sites. A few months ago the site’s operator changed LimeTorrents’ domain name and updated its homepage in response to various blocking efforts.
Alexa Rank: Zooqle, which boasts more than 3.8 million verified torrents, kept its spot in the top 10. The platform was marketed freely as an alternative to Bitsnoop which was shut down in 2017.
Alexa Rank: 1,753: EZTV.ag After a hostile takeover in 2015 the original TV-torrent distribution company EZTV shut down, with new owners claiming ownership of the brand. The group is still active, though not without controversy. Just a couple of months ago ETTV accused the group of' stealing' their releases.
Alexa Rank: 1,950 TorrentDownloads has been around for some years now. After a year of absence, the torrent platform reclaimed a spot in the top 10 this year. It's a no-nonsense tracker, delivering torrents every month to millions of users.
