Jesse Chien

I'm a third year math PhD student at UIC. My advisor is İzzet Coşkun. 

My research interest is in algebraic geometry. Currently, I'm thinking about questions related to the moduli of sheaves on curves and surfaces (e.g. Tschirnhausen bundles and Segre invariants).

Previously, I was at Cambridge for a year and, before that, I was an undergrad at UCLA.
