Data Analysis Portfolio

Hello, my name is Jesse.

I am a University of Florida graduate with a B.A. in Economics & Minor in Entrepreneurship. During my Economics degree, I took up courses such as Econometrics, Game Theory, Anti-trust Business Regulation Economics, Statistics 1 & 2, and two programming with R courses. Along with my B.A., I have also attained an M.S. in Data Science degree online at the University of West Florida, with a track in 'analytics of business decisions'. My courses have covered statistical modeling (using SAS), modeling in regression (using R), accounting/organizational business methods, and tools for data science such as Python, SQL, R, and Spark. 

Aside from my formal education, I have completed the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate offered via Coursera and its optional capstone project, using R. The course covered how to formulate data-driven questions/hypotheses, prepare/clean data for analysis, analyze data (via Excel, SQL, & Rstudio), and finally, produce powerful data visualizations using Tableau/R(ggplot2) that tell the data's story and aids shareholders with data-driven decision making. I have also completed an "Excel Skills for Business: Essentials" certificate offered by Macquarie University, via Coursera.

Ultimately, I look forward to advancing my analytical skills, creating a portfolio, and producing projects.
