I'm Jesse Parent, an assistant scientist and lab manager at Orthogonal Research & Educational Lab. I'm currently preparing for graduate study that allows me to explore natural and artificial intelligence, particularly informatics applied to aspects of cognition, learning, and information processing, and the engineering that underpins decision making and comprehension. Occasionally, I write about the ethics surrounding such topics and related impacts on society.
Also, I use social media to foster discussion on interesting topics on technology, envisioning the best future possible while dealing with our ongoing challenges, and hopefully inspire others to find their own passions. Follow my outreach and scientific research journey through social media on Twitter and Instagram.
