Currently I am a part-time Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow with Stefano Luzzatto at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy and the PI of AD Program Grant J1-4632 financed by the ARIS (Slovenian Research Fund) at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor, Slovenia.
Prior to that I was a Visiting Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland working on the IDUB program no. 1484 “Excellence initiative – research university” and a part-time Research Associate at the IRAFM, University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Earlier I was a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Vienna, Austria and the PI of the FWF (Austrian Research Fund), Schrödinger Fellowship J-4276, on the return phase in Austria from February 2021 to February 2022. Under the same fellowship I was a Postdoc of Piotr Oprocha at the AGH Krakow, Poland from February 2019 to January 2021. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Fellow and an Adjunct Lecturer Nipissing University, North Bay, Ontario, Canada working on a project led by Logan Hoehn.
I obtained my PhD in Mathematics in 2018 from the University of Vienna under the supervision of Henk Bruin. During my PhD studies I was on a three month research visit at the Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama, USA (January 2017 to April 2017) under the Marshal Plan Scholarship 707 889 28 16 2016.
I work in Topological Dynamical Systems, Continuum Theory and Ergodic Theory. My research is mainly focused in studying strange attractors of chaotic dynamical systems from the topological perspective.
