I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Quantitative Political Science at the University of Oxford's Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR). My research focuses on education politics and policy, as well as the drivers of intergroup discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, and immigrant status. Methodologically, I utilize a range of causal inference techniques to evaluate how major policy reforms influence various individual-level political outcomes, including political participation and democratic attitudes. A majority of my empirical work centers on Malaysia and Singapore. My research has been supported by the APSA Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant and has appeared in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis in 2024. Prior to my Ph.D. program, I graduated with an M.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Yonsei University, as well as a Bachelor's degree (B.Soc.Sci) in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
