Welcome! My name is Jennifer Marlor. I always knew that I wanted to be a leader in education, but my life did not immediately take me down this path. It took some time before my dream was realized, but I eventually arrived. At the age of 32 I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I started my career as a first-grade teacher in a small-town school about an hour from my home. Those beginning years in education were so crucial to molding me into the educational leader that I am today. These days you will find me learning and growing in my current role serving the ESL and intervention populations at my school, Fehl-Price Classical Academy. I am also on a mission to complete my Masters in Educational Technology Leadership. This master's degree is building my capacity for school leadership and technology innovation.
Looking toward the future, I know that we are barely scratching the surface of what technology has to offer. My goal is to better understand from a leadership role how technology can be integrated more fluidly into the everyday classroom where each scholar can fully benefit from their experiences and become more versed in the technology world.
