This page is to archive updates I make to the homepage. When I post a new update, the last update will be added to the top of this list.

I am working on quite a few more things, including bringing back the old OnlineBeachCams.com website under the JenniferChiera.com name. I have found my old site and I am slowing working on updating the content. It has been a while, so a lot of links are dead and new content curated. I'm working on it. I'm hoping to take that live before Halloween. We shall see.

See that JenniferChiera.com Label under the photo of me on the left. Yes, the one of me looking off to one side. Isn't that label the coolest thing? I think so... and I plan to use it, maybe a lot... so I am spreading the love for this free tool. Check out Labels by ACME Label Maker I also just added the 2 headers on the right while adding this update.... who knows where this could go... I might label everything. That is why I am adding a perm link on the left - right under the first amendment. Looking good. Nice and Free!

Year 42 (Sept 26th) was the worst birthday (I can remember) since being able to remember birthdays. No need to elaborate on every detail. Let's just stay the majority of the day was spent with a comb stuck in my hair (the crown) and a final resignation that scissors were the only way to put an end to my misery. Yep. I'm not bitter, but I did ask Christopher and Madeline if I could have a do-over, and they both said yes :) Thank you, my loves.
(picture 2) Nope, that is not an animal. That used to be my hair.
There are many things that can be taken from this situation. People always say that 42 is the meaning of life... but no one really knows what that means. Now that I am 42... I think the meaning is different for everyone. For me, the comb getting stuck in my hair was a reminder to let go. I have had this hair style (all one length) since junior high school. Talk about stuck in the 80's.
I used to have nightmares of someone accidentally giving me bangs during a hair cut. I never though I would do it to myself.
I think 42 has made me realize that none of it makes me who I am. Not even things that are part of me - like my hair, or my teeth, or my sister, or my illness. I am more than these things. These things are part of me, but they are not me.
It could be the ramblings of an eccentric mother on the verge of a total meltdown, or it could be something to ponder truthfully, and use to become a better person. Because if we are being honest. We could all stand to be at least a little bit better.
I love you xo

If you are sick of the ugly BS that takes place on a daily basis, but are not stupid enough to think ignorance really is bliss... take a few moments to look at some Beautiful Old Things. I have already created 2 Galleries - Art-Goût-Beauté (Art, Taste, Beauty) and Deutsche Kunst Und Dekoration (German Art and Decoration) putting together a couple of galleries featuring various images that I love looking at. The galleries will consist of works in the public domain

Just a little note. I released the chart of Morgan Freeman I created over at my blog JennifersKnotHome.com - I am happy with the finished product. I'm glad I could do it justice because I love Mr. Freeman's work. I am giving the chart away free. It can be used for any project involving a charted design.
just another poem about it.
"there was love in it once",
all you had to do was
believe it was there
and you could see it.
feel it. touch it.
it was gone.
i just keep the box
as a reminder.
