Greetings! Liebe Grüße! ¡Saludos!
My name is Jennifer Campbell and I teach German and Spanish at Manheim Central High School, in Lancaster County, PA. I teach levels 1-4 of German and level 1 Spanish. German 4 is currently offered as German 0201, College in the High School, through the University of Pittsburgh. Students are able to earn 3 credits of Intermediate college German through completion of this course.
I love to incorporate technology into my lessons! I teach daily using my Promethean (IWB) and ActivInspire. I utilize the Learning Management System Schoology. I enjoy conducting formative assessments using Kahoot and creating interactive presentations with Pear Deck.
One of my professional goals is to continue to expand my repertoire of tech tools to enhance learning in my classroom and also to refine and deepen the use of programs with which I am already familiar. I also enjoy networking with other world language teacher professionals to improve my practice and learn from others. I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge at several professional conferences.
I love to travel and look forward to more adventures to come! I budget travel with my young family. Past destinations include Spain, Great Britain, Montréal, Canada, Switzerland, northern Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Liechtenstein, southern Germany, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Southern France and Mexico.
In the Summer of 2024, I will be leading students abroad in a trip to Berlin and Eastern Europe.
